The first child of Ann Sweaney was born 17 Dec 1836 in
Tennessee. Ann moved with her parents to Missouri and brought
Nancy Jane and Barbara with her. We do not know the father of
these two daughters but family tradition is that they were part
Cherokee Indian.
About 1860 Nancy Jane married Benjamin Wilson. He was the
son of Benjamin Sr. and Prudence Green Wilson and was born 31
Aug. 1843 in Putnam Co., IN. (James Emberson had said that
Benjamin Sr. was 1/8 Cherokee). Benjamin and Nancy made their
home in Dallas Co. where they reared eight children. Nancy died
30 March 1892 and Benjamin died 30 July 1894. They are both
buried in Morgan Cemetery, Jasper Twp. The Wilson descendants
are:
IV-5 Rachel Katheline born 30 Mar 1861 in Dallas Co., died at age
three: 18 Aug 1866. Buried: Morgan Cemetery, Dallas Co.,MO.
IV-6 William Hedgeman Wilson (Dick) born: 1863; Married Geneve
Marley 8 Sept 1884 and had one son. He md 2nd Freddy Rice and
had three sons.
IV-7 Benjamin Abraham Wilson was born 12 June 1865 in Dallas Co.,
Mo. Known as "Did". He married Maliza Elizabeth Chapman 2 May 1886.
in Dallas Co. She was born 2 Jan 1861 and died 18 March 1931.
He died 13 Feb 1941.
IV-8 Thomas Galen Wilson was born 20 Jan 1870 in Dallas Co., MO.
He md 25 Dec 1890 to Villa Narcissus Lemons, dau. of William
Jasper and Irena Sultana Hildebrand Lemons. Thomas died 26 Apr
1932 and is buried in Morgan Cemetery, Dallas Co., MO. Villa
was born 19 Aug 1872 in Dallas Co. and died 15 Sept 1961. She
is buried in Scrivener Cem.
IV-9 John Henry Wilson (Harry) was born 16 June 1872 in Dallas
Co., MO. He married 9 Jan 1896 to Minerva Ann McClurg. He died
4 Aug 1957. Their children: Iva Myrtle (2 June 1897-7 Oct 1987)

IV-11 James Emberson Green Wilson was born 9 Jan 1876 in Dallas
Co., MO and married in 1899 to Louease Samantha Youngblood. She
was born 1 Jan 1880 in Carson City, Nev. She died 21 Sept 1944
and was buried at Gervais Oregon. James died 18 Jan 1958 also at
