The seventh child of William A. and Elizabeth Emily Sweaney was born ca 1849 probably in Lawrence Co., TN as the family moved about 1853. He is listed as 10 years old in the 1860 census. He married 15 Aug 1870 in Dallas Co. (Bk A) to Sarah J. Bladner. (Who were her parents?) There is no marker for either of them in the Sweaney Cem. He was living at Plad Mo. in 1900. He is listed in the 1900 census of Jasper Twp. (p. 72-B) with a wife, Martha b. 1844, aged 5 yrs older than her husband so it is probably a second marriage. (Need to check the 1880 census)
