The sixth child of Jeremiah (I-1) and Nancy Griffin Sweaney was born ca 1830 in TN. He does not appear in the 1860 census of Dallas Co., MO. In the 1880 census of Dallas Co. he is living with Isaac W. Sweaney, his nephew and next to his brother, James C. Sweaney. He is listed as age 50. It is doubtful that he ever married.
