Not aware of any Foldens in Monroe Co. in 1810 or 1830
Have not yet found any court records for Folden in Monroe Co.
Monroe Co. included part of what became Craig Co. in 1851. This was just one county west of Bedford Co., VA with Roanoke in between.
The James Folden who md Nancy was b. 1810 in KY, so the above James may be an uncle. There was a Lewis Folden in Chatham Co. NC in 1790.
