JAMES F. ROBINSON was born 1814 in Ky, the son of Charles Robinson and Sarah Barham. He died
1879 in Greene Co. Mo. He married ca 1841 in Clarksville, AR to ELIZA SWAGERTY. He was born
ca 1828 in Ark and died before 1879 in Greene Co. Mo.
At Clarksville, Ark., James drove a stage for sometime, but about 1842 he moved to Greene Co.
Mo. And settled on Leeper Prairie, where he became the owner of 300 acres and an extensive
stock raiser. This farm was located in Sec 31, Township 30 Range 23 which is southwest of
Springfield near Brookline. He and his wife had 11 children. Two of the children died in
infancy.
Eliza was the daughter of John W. Swaggerty and probably Jane Clark.
Eliza had a sister by the name of Lutitia H. Swagerty who was living with the Robinson’s in
1860. She was 17 years old in 1860 and on Jan 13, 1867 in Green Co. Mo., she married John O.
Tatum.

6. Beverly A. Tatum; 7. James A. Tatum; 8. William A. Tatum.
