Jeremiah Nix was born ca 1788 and died 15 Dec 1857. He married Lousia Frances Webb who was born 1795 in Wilkes Co, GA. She died 6 Sept 1880 in Randolph Co,AL. The 1880 cenus shows them living in Rockdale Twp, Randolph Co AL. They were married Oct,1810 in Elbert Co,GA.

Harrison Nix born abt 1811 (still researching)
Mary (Polly) Nix born 24 Feb 1812 (still researching)
Austin B Nix *my line* born 1815 in GA. He married Lucinda Walls
Catherine Nix born 1818 and married Henry McElroy of Randolph Co AL.
John Nix born 1824 in GA married Mary McElroy
Alice Nix born abt 1827 (still researching) (Could this by Alcey? JMc)
Rebecca Nix 1832 (still researching)
Martha Nix (still researching)
William Jasper Nix born 1836
Frances Nix born 1838 (still researching )

My records show the McClung family that connects to the Nix family in Randolph co,AL: John Fleming Hill was born in 1847, son of Elsberry Hill and Melinda Jane Hodge. He married Lousia McClung, born 1850, daughter of Hiram McClung and Alcey Nix. Could this be Alice Nix, daughter of Jeremiah Nix,?.I have their children and one of them married Reuben Sherman born 1-26-1884 died 10-4-1947 in OK. He married Lucinda Nix which is my grandfathers sister her father was Marion Franklin Nix. Then he married Lela Fowler,and then married Maggie Duskins. This is the information Randolph Co,AL sent me.
