John K. Caldwell was the eldest son of William Caldwell who died in Bath County, KY in 1823, He is
named in his will. John was born 28 Jan 1789 (from Geraldine Clements). At that time the family was
probably living in Mongomery Co., KY. He married Sarah (Sally) Utterback 12 Apr 1810 in Bath Co., KY.
She was born 7 Sep 1789. This family moved to Pike County, Missouri.
The first child of John Kincaid and Sarah Utterback Caldwell was born 10 Mar 1811 in Kentucky (Probably
Bath County). The family moved to Missouri when he was young and settled in the Pike County area. Harmon
married 30 Oct 1827 to Mary Doke Caldwell. They were married at New London, Ralls, MO. They reared their

Ralls Co. MO. She was born 1842 in Monroe Co., MO and died 1929 in Springfield, Sangamon, IL. Their
children were Mary Caldwell b. 1866; Dora b. 1869; Katie Guy b. 1871; Addaline b. 1874; James
Harmon b. 1877; Henry b. 1880; John Watt b. 1883; Margarett Briddelle b. 1883. All the children born in
Louisana, Pike Co., MO.
The second child of Harmon Utterback and Mary Doke Caldwell was born 1843 in Pike Co. MO. She
married Harry G. McCung in 1864.
The third child of Harmon Utterback and Mary Doke Caldwell was born 1845 in MO. He md
Isobell Shotwell in 1870. She was born 1849 and d. 1937.
