St. Amand's
church was located in Walhain, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, U.S.A. The first church was built by Jean
Streyckman who came to Walhain in 1856.
This settlement was comprised of Belgian immigrants.

The
first church burned down and was replaced in 1912, while under the guidance
of Rev. Milo P. Smits. The first
mass was celebrated on October 13, 1913.
The church was dedicated on November 19, 1912. St. Amand's parish was closed in 1992, by order of Bishop Robert Banks
of Green Bay, because of the priest shortage. It was torn down that same year, because of it's being
located too close to the road. The
land was added to the Cemetery and a memorial sign with the Church's bell
was erected.
