1880 she was a widow living with her two youngest: Amon N. & Julia Black.
In 1885 Kansas State Census, Lucy Ann gives her parents' POB as MA.
On 25 Mar 1841 when Lucy Ann was 17, she married John Bennett BLACK2, son of Christopher BLACK & Elizabeth BARLOW, in Marion County, IN.1 Born on 25 Oct 1792 in Ellicott City, Howard, Md. John Bennett died on 18 Apr 1891; he was 98.

Born on 8 Jul 1825 in Near Brookville, Franklin County, IN. John died in Oakland, IA on 21 Sep 1904; he was 79. Buried in Fairview Cemetery, Oakland, IA.When John died he and Tamar lived in a cottage in Oakland, IA where the Oakland Fire Station is now located.
On 24 Apr 1851 when John was 25, he first married Margaret SPLENFIELD/SAPPENFIELD, in Marion Co., IN. Born abt 1830 in Of Marion Co., IN. Margaret died in 1855; she was 25.
