Estes, Edmund/Edward The names I'm having issues with are: Edmund/Edward Estes and his daughter (presumably) Virinda.
According to the 1860 Federal Census - Pope Co., IL Edmund Estes was born abt 1791 in Virgina wife: Charlotty (Golding) born: 1806 in Virginia
The census lists their next door neighbor as Virinda (Estes) Cornell, a widow b: 1822 in NC son: Edmund born: 1850 in IL
I believe Virinda married Henry Cornell who must have died before 1860. I also believe she is the daughter of Edmund and Charlotty (Golding) Estes - I just can't find any additional information or proof of her parentage nor of Edmund's.
Any clues or suggestions would be helpful.

ROBBINS, Cecil H. I am a blood relative of the late Cecil H Robbins. We are first cousins. Our mothers were sisters, this may all sound strange but it is true. Cecil was born Cecil Oxrider. His mother Nell Priest Oxrider died soon after he was born. As a new born he was given to Nell Oxrider Robbins to raise as he had 6 sisters. Their father Dan Oxrider had to find homes for all of them. Don't know if Cecil was legally adopted by the Robbins or not. Cecil has 1 sister Nell Lieder still living, She is 100 & living in a nursing home in Minneapolis. She keeps asking me where is my brother burried. I would like any inf you have for Cecil. His sisters were Lydia, Etta, Myrtle, Helen, Edna, & Nell the youngest & still living. I am the daughter of Vern Edna Priest Smith. She was sister of Cecil's mother. Cecil & I are first cousins.
