Early Settlers of Warren Co. PA

Warren Co. was first formed by an act of the State Legislature passed March 12, 1800. Warren Co. was first attached and then was detatched from Crawford County and annexed to Venango Co. for judicial and other purposes of government in 1805. The first assessment rolls for Warren Co. were held in 1806. At the time, Brokenstraw was the only Township in Warren Co.
