June 30, 1930 - February 16, 2000. 
Born in Lomita, Calif. Most of his life was spent in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, where he ran the family business JoAnne's Yardage in Torrance. Friends fondly remember him in his garage office plowing through paperwork, keeping the place running and hosting Monday night football for the buys whose wives were inside shopping. George moved to De Anza Resort in San Diego several years ago where he enjoyed swimming, puttering in his yard, fishing with his son and grandson, sunshine and occasional gambling excursions with his good friends from Pathfinders. He is survived by his wife Joanne, son Stephen, daughter Suzanne, and grandchildren Rory, Nathan and Shawna, who wish to thank everyone for their ongoing love and support. Stark will be remembered for his simple good natured humor, down to earth values and unconditional love and loyalty. With all the love in the world, we will miss you always, your children.
