Born in Burnt Fork, Wyoming June 10, 1908, son of Gilbert and Carrie Thompson Stark. Married Muriel Marie Howes December 21, 1932 in Price, Utah, parents of six children. He was a lifelong coal miner for Geneva Steel in Carbon County, retiring to Palisade, Colorado; Proud member of UMWA. His big heart and sense of humor will be missed by all.
Survived by four sons, Albert and Terry, Glenwood Springs, Colorado; Patrick, Salt Lake; Gilbert, Tampa Bay, Florida; sister Edna, of Grand Junction, Colorado; brother Jack, of Lyons, Colorado. Preceded in death by his wife; son Richard; daughter Merlene; and parents.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 29, 1998, at 12 noon, LDS 9th Ward, Fruitvale, Colorado.
