She was the daughter of William Boatman and Lucretia "Cressie" Jane Cooper Boatman.

She married JAMES J HUDSON on 3 October 1878 in Newton County, Arkansas
She was the second wife of James, his first being PHILADELPHIA "Delphie" NORRIS.Philadelphia Norris was the daughter of John NORRIS and Mary McGUIRE
It is unknown what date Philadelphia Norris Hudson died.

James J Hudson was the son of Samuel Hudson and Nancy Bellah.
James served in Co. E, 14th Arkansas Infantry (CSA). James died 30 July 1906 and is buried in Union Hill Cemetery, Newton County, Arkansas

She died 17 October 1937 at Spiro, LeFlore County, Oklahoma

iii: ORABELLE HUDSON, born 1 December 1882.
She married WILLIAM JASPER BRASEL on 13 October 1901 in Newton County.
She died 23 June 1923 with burial in Union Hill Cemetery, Newton County Arkansas.

iv: EFFIE LEONA HUDSON, born 6 November 1884, married
I.F."Tom" FRALEY on 4 January 1903 in Newton County.
Effie died in August 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma

v: OSCAR LEE HUDSON, born 7 October 1886
He married GERTRUDE McHUGHES on 23 February 1921.
He died on 27 May 1960 and is buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Boone County, Arkansas.

she married W R SNOWon 1 January 1908 in Newton County, Arkansas
Edna died on 16 August 1975 in Rusk, Wisconsin

vii: LUCINDA PEARL HUDSON, born 12 November 1890.
She married JAMES CASEY on 17 July 1911 in Newton County.

viii: LESTER HUGH HUDSON, born 23 October 1892.
Married ELIZABETH CARLTON in 1922.
Lester died 2 January 1969 and is buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Boone County, Arkansas.

ix: OBEDIENCE "OBIE" ELIZA HUDSON, born 28 October 1894.
She married A.C. HUNTER 11 October 1914 in Newton County.

The 1900 Newton County, Arkansas Census, Jackson Township, Visit 94-98 states she had 9 children with 9 living.

James Jefferson Hudson died 30 July 1906 and is buried in Union Hill Cemetery, Newton County, Arkansas

Victoria Boatman Hudson died 9 May 1931 and is buried in Union Hill Cemetery, Newton County, Arkansas.
