bullet  General Notes:

The Daily Mail, Hagerstown, MD, March 28, 1914

William Morgret, Howard St., died suddenly last night in the yard in the rear of the Franklin House, of paralysis of the heart. He was aged about 33 years. He had been around the hotel several hours in the morning and afternoon and most of the evening. Shortly before 8 o'clock, he slipped from a chair in the lobby and was carried by several guests to the rear. Dr. F. N. Hoffmeier made an examination and pronounced the man dead. Acting Coroner Ankeney decided an inquest unnecessary. The body was taken to the undertaking establishment of C. M. Suter & Sons.
-----
The Sunday paper had an additional note that a service was held by minister J. W. Ott and that the body was then shipped on the Pittsburgh Express to Bedford County PA. for burial on that same date.
