ARTEMAS, Pa. - Mary F. Smith, 93, of Road Kill Cafe Road, died Wednesday,
Nov. 21, 2001 at the home of her daughter in Hagerstown. Born April 13,
1908, in Mann Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edward and
Cora Hendershot Leasure. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart
S. Smith, in 1973. They were married Oct. 13, 1928. She was a member of
Fairview Christian Church in Artemas, where she was a former Sunday School
teacher. She is survived by two daughters, Alta L. Fetters of Everett and
E. Deloris Twigg of Hagerstown, and three granddaughters. She was preceded
in death by a brother, John Leasure, a granddaughter and a
grandson. Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Fairview Christian Church.
The Rev. Milton Morse will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview
Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at
Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, and Sunday at 2 p.m. at
the church."
