Dorcas was the daughter of Oliver Sherman Corle and Emma Jane Horner.
Dorcas was a registered nurse, graduated from Nason Hospital Nursing School, Roaring Spring. She was a past worthy matron of the Altoona Chapter 290, Order of the Eastern Star.

DORCAS MORGART dies; past Matron of OES
Mrs. Dorcas Morgart, a former resident of Delaware County, died Wednesday (June 17, 1981) in Maryland.
She was a member of the Parkside Senior Citizens and was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Morgart is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Desmond, of Ocean Pines, Md.; a son, Philip, of California; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dietz, of Bedford, Pa., and Mrs. Sarah Wolf, of Fishertown, Pa.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held in Fishertown.

Mrs. Dorcas (Corle) Morgart, 78, of Millsboro, Delaware, formerly of Fishertown, died Wednesday, June 17, 1981, after an illness of six months.
She was born February 11, 1903, a daughter of the late O.S. and Emma (Horner) Corle.
She was married to G.H. Morgart whp preceded her in death in 1963, also by one sister and four brothers.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James (Barbara) Desmond, and a son, Phillip, both of Berlin, Md. Three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter also survive along with two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dietz, of Pennknoll Village; and Mrs. Sara Wolf, of Fishertown; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Deliah Corle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Morgart was a past worthy matron of the Altoona Chapter 290, Eastern Star.
Memorial services: Sunday, June 21 at 3 p.m. at St. Luke's Reformed Church, Fishertown, with Rev. John MacRae officiating.

Yesterday at noon a very beautiful wedding was solemnized in the Reformed Church at Fishertown by the Reformed minister of Roaring Springs. The contracting parties were Miss Dorcas Corle, of Fishertown, a graduate nurse from the Roaring Spring hospital and Howard Morgart of Altoona, a teacher in the Altoona public schools. Both parties are very favorably known and have the best wishes and hearty congratulations of a host of friends.
