Reconstructed 1850 Clifford and Dundaff

As any researcher with ancestors there can attest, available versions of the 1850 census for Clifford Township and Dundaff Borough, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania are generally considered illegible.

Using various indices and the census itself, Susan Kelley created a "best guess" transcription which we then proofed. The result will be found at cousin Fred's NEPA site HERE, but because occupations and owned property values are not listed there, we've compiled and included them in the searchable index here.

To assist further research, we've noted if the specific surname appears in the Stocker index in the vicinity of Clifford/Dundaff. Finally, some surnames are linked to a contributing family researcher.

Items included here are:

SURNAME

A ? indicates an unclear digit or letter. Spellings match the census itself, but not necessarily indices previously published since this transcription is original.
