1928 Could not find either in any Tasmanian Division.

According to Barry McIvor <barrymcivor@yahoo.com.au> by email (December 2003), Arthur and Ruth were married in New Zealand in 1912 and remarried in 1913 in Tasmania. He also states that it is odd to note that the McNamaras and McIvors constantly travelled to & fro between tassy & aust.

The following letter was in the “Examiner” newspaper on 2nd May 2001, page 21:

I am keen to hear from any descendants of Arthur Cyrus McIvor and Ruth Louisa McNamara. Ruth was born in Gippsland in 1895 and Arthur was born in Tasmania in 1884. They were married in Tasmania in 1913 and lived in the Scottsdale-Ringarooma area. Ruth’s maternal grandmother was my great-great grandmother.
