Pangburn connection: Eugene Pangborn 1844-1929. Schuyler County, NY, his second wife Elizabeth Graham (married 1884, died 1910 in Schuyler County) who was the sister (and only sibling of who I am aware) of my great grandfather William Graham (died 1877, Schuyler County, NY). Elizabeth helped raise the 3 youngest children of Eugene, whose first wife Sarah Jane died when they were young. I expect Elizabeth had the greatest influence on Ruth who was 5 when she married Eugene. Ruth survived to the age of 102 in 1982, married Edwin Van Deventer on Oct. 1900 in Monterey , N.Y. and has surviving descendants.
Looking for information re William and Elizabeth Graham and Ruth Pangborn DeVenter. Digital versions of some of the letters (16) written by William to Elizabeth while he was a soldier in the Civil War (the originals owned by Notre Dame Univ.) recently came into my possession. If descendants have knowledge of other information regarding these persons, including letters and photos, I would be most appreciative.

Abt 1827, New York, died after 1870 New York. Margaret Emma Pangborn married Daniel Eheler, he was bn. 1836 Guysborough, Nova Scotia, Canada, died 1926, McKenzie County, Watford City (Banks), ND. Margaret and Daniel had 12 children, one of which is my grandmother, Florence May Eheler, bn.1887, Burr Oak Twp., Mitchell County, Iowa, 1962 Corona, Riverside County, California. Florence married Thomas J. Arrowood/Arrowwood, bn. 1883 Minnesota- 1972, California. Florence and Thomas had my mother, Lovera Florence Arrowwod 1911-1996.
