Rem'd to Windham, thence, about 1794, to Hebron, where he died. (Derby,
p. 27)

He was a soldier in the Revolution, and was persent at the defeat and
capture of Gen. Burgoyne. A few years after his marriage he was
ordained to the ministry, and became widely known and distinguished as
a travelling preacher; he visited such places especially as were without
a settled minister; and so earnest were his efforts in that direction,
that his health became seriously enfeebled, and he was obliged to retire
from his labors, a short time before his decease. (Derby, p. 27)

"The heirs of Joseph Hutchinson, deceased, of Hebron, County of Oxford,
Commonwealth of Massachusetts; to Joseph Hutchinson, of Hebron, in the
County of Commonwealth aforesaid, yeoman; $275 for a certain piece or
pieces of land set off for the widow, being her part of the aforeseaid
Joseph Hutchinson's estate. Signed by the heirs: Robert Martin, Rebecca
Martin, (X), her cross, Nathaniel Keen, Stephen Hutchinson, Henry
Hutchinson, Daniel Hutchinson, Samuel Hutchinson, Robert Martin, Jr.,
Rebecca Hutchinson, John Hutchinson, Lydia Keen, and Betsy Martin;
witnessed by Gershom Davis, Joseph H. Davis, Henry Hobbs, Zach. Jordan,
Job Randall, Jr., and Thomas Merrill; further witnessed by Thomas
