City; thence to Kansas, and one year after to the Rocky mountains, where
he lived five years, and thence to Osawkie, Kansas, where he lived [as of
1870]. (Derby, p. 83)

Occupations: For several years a hotel keeper; [in 1870] a painter. (Derby,
p. 83)
