Robert Forster, clerk of court, Dec 22, 1747 - summoned through sheriff for Mar. 1748 - jurors to attend court at house of William Eaton who lived 3 or 4 miles from Henderson where earliest courts were held later at Harrisburg and then Oxford. Jurors: ... William Moore... March court 1747.

Will, dated January 11, 1761; probated February 10, 1761. To son Richard, tract of land allotted him "known by the name of his place, where Wm. Nichols did live", and sund. personalty; (2) to son William, tract of land adjoining his brother Richard's land to be divided between them "at the discretion of William Johnson & Jos. Hackady," and sund. personalty; (3) to son James, tract of land "I bought of Mathis", and sund personalty; (4) to son John (probably under 21 years), "the plantation now live on", but the use and benefit of same given testators wife (name not given), during life or widowhood, and also to son John sund. personalty; (5) to "eldest daughters Holley and Sarah, 20 s. each; (6) to daughter Edney, some stock; and (8) remainder of personal estate to wife for life, but may be divided by her between testators "two youngest daughters Susanna & Anne". Ex: son William Wit: Will Johnson, William Moore. Id. p. 162.
