Concord Presbyterian Church - 1775

Iredell, North Carolina
This is to certify that Thos. Jefferson & his wife
Charlotte have been for some considerable time members in full communion in our
church & that their conduct, in general, has been according to the gospel.
And as they are about to move out of this society they are hereby recommended
to any church in which they may reside as members in good standing of regular
deportment.

Pronouncement of death for Raford Cannon - 1852
(First husband of Eliz.. Jane [nee: Hollis] {Cannon} Jefferson)
Marion Probate in the State of Arkansas
In the Marion Probate in the State of Arkansas and on the 27th day of
January, A D 1852, amongst other things were the following proceedings,
to wit,
It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court here that Raford
CANNON has departed this life. And it also appearing that the estate
belonging to said deceased does not aceede (sp) the value of three
hundred dollars
It is therefore considered by the Court that all the property
belonging to said deceased be vested absolutely in Jane CANNON the widow
of said deceased.
State of Arkansas: Ss
County of Marion: I, Thomas F. AUSTIN
Clerk of the circuit Court and Officio Clerk of the Court of Probate
within and for said county do hereby certify that the above and
foregoing is a true and perfect transcript from the Probate in reguard
(sp) to the property being vested absolutely in Jane CANNON widow of
Raford CANNON deceased.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand as clerk as aforesaid
and affixed the seal of said Court at office in Yellville, this 26th day
of March AD 1852 Thomas F. AUSTIN clerk

Note: Elizabeth Jane Hollis, married Raford Cannon. When
widowed, she married Thos. Jefferson. She was his third wife.

New Hope Church - 1869
New Hope Church July 18th AD 1869.
Whereas
Thomas Jefferson and Elizabeth J. Jefferson of Yelville Ark. Was received into
the communion of the church untill (sp) a more convenient organization could be
effected, and to afford opportunity for this ordinance of Baptism to be
administered to their infant children.
By
Order of the Session their names are hereby transferred to
Together with the names of their baptized children vir.

Cemetery Property Waiver - 1911
"WHEREAS, on this day Robert B. JEFFERSON and Thomas B. JEFFERSON
sold their home place to J. C. FLOYD and , WHEREAS, it is understood
that they have two kinsmen buried on said land and desire to remove said
bodies or to fence said graves for the purpose of protecting same from
molestation.
It is hereby understood by me that the said Robert B. and Thomas B.
JEFFERSON have the right to enter upon said land for the purpose of
removing said bodies and in the event they do not remove them they are
to have the right to fence ten feet square around said graves for the
protection thereof.
This the 27th day of December 1911.
