42.  1681. Deed of Gift.  Benjamin Cowdrey, Citizen and Vintener of London in the Co of Norhamton VA do give and bequeath unto John Deckeson Cryer of the Co of Norhamton in VA 100 a. of wood land ground in or upon Mustellen Cr out of the devedent of land that I bought of Capt Avere and confermed by Richard Hill of Arssee Hege in Sommerset Co MD this land lieth in the outside of my son Benjamin Cowdrey's land ... it layeth and joyneth upon George Collier land ... the freedom of the marshes as well as my son Benjamin and Henry Spencer and Samuell Spencer.  Wit:  Philip Skuntelberg, Benjamin Cowdrey.

Pages 195-196.  Deed.  3 Aug 1721.  From William Spencer, son of Henry Spencer, dec'd of Sussex Co., DE., to John Smith, sergint, of the same place.  For 27 pounds 88 acres.  Land is situated on the west side of Delaware Bay and on the south side of Muspillin Creek and is bounded by land of Robert Hart and by a branch.  Land is part of a larger tract of 1000 acres granted by patent dated 29 Sep 1667 from Edmund Andross, Governor of New York & Albiny, to Richard Hill who sold on 11 Jul 1678 the 1000 acres to Benjamin Cowdry who on 26 Aug 1683 gave and assigned 500 acres of the 1000 acres to his daughter, Frances Spencer, wife of Major William Spencer.  Joseph Booth after marrying Frances Spencer sold 100 acres of the 500 acres to Mark Manlove who sold the 100 acres to Henry Spencer.  Henry Spencer gave his bond to John Smith, Sergant, to sell him the 100 acres except 12 acres which Henry Spencer sold to Mark Gendron and John Smith paid part of the bond to Henry Spencer and the remainder to William Spencer.  The 12 acres adjoins 47 acres which Henry Spencer also sold to Mark Gendron.  William Spencer signs.  Wits., Thomas Goldsmith and John May.  Ack. Aug. Court 1721.

Pages 252-253.  Deed. 31 Jul 1727.  From John Smith, sergint, of Sussex Co., DE, to Joseph Spencer, of the same place.  For 60 pounds 88 acres.  Land is situated on the west side of Delaware Bay and on the south side of the Muspelion Creek and bounded by land of Mark Gendron, by a branch, and by land of Robert Hart. Land is part of a larger tract of 1000 acres granted by patent dated 20 Dec 1667 from Edmond Andrews, Governor of New York and Albany, to Richard Hill who on 11 Jul 1678 conveyed the tract to Benjamin Cowdry who on 26 Aug 1683 conveyed by deed of gift 500 acres to his daughter, Frances Spencer, wife of Major William Spencer.  Joseph Booth, after marrying Frances Spencer following her husband's decease, sold 100 acres of the 500 acres to Mark Manlove.  Mark Manlove sold the 100 acres to Henry Spencer who sold the 100 acres to John Smith except 12 acres which Henry Spencer had previously sold to Mark Gendron which William Spencer, son of Henry Spencer, conveyed to John Smith in Court in Aug 1721.  John Smith May and Joseph Booth, R.  Ack. 12 Aug 1727.  signs.  Wits.,
