DR. J. P. HURT PASSES AWAY THIS MORNING
Retired Physician Dies at Home of Daughter in Anniston
Dr. James P. Hurt, age 86, retired Edwardsville physician, who has been making his home here with his daughter, died at the residence at 1920 Noble Street at 7 o'clock this morning.
Funeral services will be held at the Eastaboga Church, with the Rev. R. C. Nelson officiating. The time will be announced later by Usrey.
Dr. Hurt retired frm active practice about ten years ago and had been living at his daughter's home for sometime.
Surviving are two sons, J. H. Hurt of Ethel , Miss. and J. J. Hurt of Eros, Miss., and one daughter, Mrs. L. W. Horton of Anniston.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD AT EASTABOGA FOR DR. J. P. HURT
Funeral services for Dr. J. P. Hurt, age 86, retired Edwardsville physician, who died at heh home of his daughter, Mrs. L. W. Horton, on 1920 Noble Street Thursday, were conducted at 3 o'clock this afternoon at Eastaboga Church. The Rev. R. C. Nelson officiated and interment was in Eastaboga Cemtery with Usrey in charge.
Dr. Hurt, who had been making his home here for some time, is survived by his daughter an two sons, J. H. Hurt, of Ethel, Miss, and J. J. Hurt of Eros, Miss.
Pallbearers were Feton Hepinstall, Alfred Turner, Harry Turner, and Walter Montgomery.
