Looking for
family of George Henderson born 11 January 1848 Glasgow. A relative
thinks it was in Renfrew. George lists his parents as George
Henderson, weaver (later manufacturer?), and Mary Jamieson. I've not
been able to find them. George was a master mariner and married in
Australia 3 times - 4 March 1869 to Elizabeth Archer, 25 August 1877 to
Margaret Archer and 23 September 1893 to Margaret Laycock. We
believe he was the only one in his family to come to Australia.
George died 31 July 1897 as the result of an accident and is buried in
Rookwood Cemetery, Sydney, Australia. He had 10 children.

to date. Mary was born circa 1824.

1845, came to Australia aboard the "Beejapore" with Alexander
& family.
