     Ann Brownell was born in 1654 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Brownell and Ann Bourne.
     Ann married an unknown person on 4 May 1683 in in Little Compton, Newport, Rhode Island.3,2
     Ann Brownell died on 2 April 1729 in Little Compton, Newport, RI.2

     Charles Brownell [Charles Brownell of Little Compton, R. I., born Dec. 23, 1694, was the son of Thomas Brownell, born 1650 (son of Thomas) and Mary Pearce, daughter of Richard Pearce of Portsmouth, R. I. He married, 1717, Mary Wilbor. In his will, dated March 21, 1768, he gives to his daughter Ruth White thirty silver dollars. This gift is remembered by his descendants in Dutchess County.].1 He was born on 23 December 1694 in Near Newport, Rhode Island.2,3,4 He was the son of Thomas Brownell and Mary Pearce.
     On 6 July 1717, Charles Brownell married Mary Wilbore, daughter of Samuel Wilbore and Mary Sherman Potter, in Little Compton, Newport County, Rhode Island.3,4
     Charles Brownell died in February 1774 at the age of 79.3,4
