     Johan Peter Conrad was born on 16 August 1737 in Germany . Or he was born on 16 Sep 1737.2,3,4 He immigrated to Pennsylvania, aboard the Two Brothers, arriving on 13 October 1747. Peter was of Niederhausen, Zweibruecken, Germany at this time.4
     Johan Peter Conrad married Veroncia "Sophronia" Heller, daughter of Johan Simon Heller and Louisa "Lowii" Dietz, in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Marriage is recorded in the Evangelical United Congregations of Milton and Scipio Lansing Township, Tompkins County, New York.2,3,5,6
     On 27 November 1766, Johan Peter Conrad and Veroncia "Sophronia" Heller mortgaged the land described as: 165 acres for 300 pounds PA money, Lower Smithfield Township, Monroe, Pennsylvania. The Mortgage was held by Timothy Horsfield.7 Johan Peter Conrad began military service in 1776 in Hamilton, Northampton, Pennsylvania. Peter served as 1st Lt. in the 6th Batallion, 5th Company, from Hamilton Township under Captain Henry Sewitz.8,3,9,5 He was awarded a land warrant on 17 November 1784 Pennsylvania; Land Warrant 35. Johan Peter was Commission of Justice of Peace for the District of Hamilton Township, Pennsylvania. on 21 August 1786 in Hamilton, Northampton, PA.10

     Johan Peter Conrad died on 22 November 1789 in Hamilton, Northampton, PA, at the age of 52.8,3,4 Johan was buried after 22 November 1789 in the Hamilton Church Cemetery, located in Hamilton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania . His tombstone is inscribed as Johann Pheier Conrad.3,4,11,12
