Missing from the census is Harlo born in 1830.3
     Joshua Bishop and Mary Bishop appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Savannah, Wayne, New York, enumerated 29 September 1850, reported they owned Real Estate valued at $1,500. Joshua's age is reported to be 38, he should be 28.. Their children Alonzo and Calvin H. were listed as living with them, as well as Abigail Wilbur, Mary's Mother, Thomas (Mary's Father) is missing presumably he may have died prior to 1850.2
     Joshua Bishop and Mary Bishop appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Savannah, Wayne, New York, enumerated 10 July 1860, The value of Joshua's Real Estate is $3,000 and the vaule of his personal estate is $1,000.. Their son Harlo was listed as living with them, as well as Amos Hopkins age 35 born in NewYork with an occupation of a Domestic and Emily J. Bishop age 16 born in New York with her occupation listed as a Domestic (Is Emily related to Joshua?).6
     In 1867,Joshua and Alonzo lived in Savannah, Wayne, New York.7
     Joshua Bishop appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Savannah, Wayne, New York, enumerated 7 July 1870, reporting a listed Value of Real Estate of $3, 000 and Personal Property valued at $9,000. Mary is missing from the Census, she probably died between 1860 and 1870.. His son Alonzo was listed as living with him, along with his wife, Sarah L. Bishop and their children, Clara, Eugene and Adella. Also in the household is Alwood Hopkins who is born in New York, age 35 with his occupation of a Clock Tinker.8
     Joshua Bishop died between 7 July 1870 and 1880 in Savannah, Wayne, New York. Joshua was not found 1880 census, however his son, Alonzo is found living in Savannah.8
