     Mary M. Waite was born on 29 May 1852 in Ithaca, Tompkins, New York.2,1 She has also been reported as being born on 29 May 1852 in Elmira, Chemung, New York.3
     Circa 1869, Mary M. Waite married Edison C. Whitlock, son of Jesse Whitlock and Mary M. Pew, in.2
     Mary M. Whitlock and Edison C. Whitlock appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Ithaca, Tompkins, New York, enumerated 2 August 1870, reporting them living next door to his parents.2
     Mary M. Whitlock and Edison C. Whitlock appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Ithaca, Tompkins, New York, enumerated 7 June 1880.4
     On 26 October 1920, Mary M. Whitlock was living at 334 S. Geneva, in Ithaca, Tompkins, New York, when she died at the age of 68, leaving Edison as her surviving spouse.3
     Mary M. Whitlock was interred on 29 October 1920 in the East Lawn Cemetery, located in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York .3
