Burch was living on 14 August 1897 in Volinia, Cass, Michigan.7 On the 1900 census , William H. Burch was listed as the head of the family living in Volinia, Cass, Michigan. Also included in the household: William H. Burch, Samuel E. Burch and Nathaniel Burch. Alice M Perrin, Granddaughter, age 10 born in Michigan is living with them. Alice is Anna & William Perrin's Daughter.8 On the 1910 census , William H. Burch was listed as the head of the family living at Freemont Street in Antwerp Township, Van Buren, Michigan.      Wilson Burch was born in 1819 in Rensselaer County, New York.1,2
     On 4 July 1841, Wilson Burch married Harriet M. Wilbur, daughter of Alanson Wilbur and Sally Moore, in Chatham, Columbia, New York. By Rev. Loomis, Baptist minister. The wedding was witnessed by Almon B. Ashley of Greenbush Village, Rensselaer, New York..3,1,2 On the 1850 census , Wilson Burch was listed as the head of the family living in Lyons, Wayne, New York. Also included in the household: William H. Burch, Sarah Burch and Mary Burch. Wilson's family is living next door to Elias B. Reynold's family, Harriet's sister.1
On the 1860 census , Wilson Burch was listed as the head of the family living in Porter, Van Buren, Michigan. Also included in the household: William H. Burch, Mary Burch, Alanson Burch, Nathaniel Burch and Edwin "Eddie" Burch.4 Wilson Burch began military service on 22 January 1862 in Lawton, Van Buren, Michigan. As a Private in the Volunteer Michigan, Enlisted H Co. 12th Infantry Regiment Wilson was in the battles of:
     Battle on 20 June 1863
     Battle on 12 July 1863
     Battle at Chickamauga, Georgia on 19 September 1863
     Battle at Chickamauga, Georgia on 20 September 1863
     Battle at Crawfish Springs, Georgia on 20 September 1863
     Battle at Chattanooga, Tennessee on 26 September 1863.5
He was described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, light complexion, grey eyes and brown hair. on 10 February 1863 in Porter, Van Buren, Michigan.2 According to his military discharge papers, Wilson was a Farmer on 10 February 1863 in Porter, Van Buren, Michigan.2

Wilson Burch ended his military service on 5 May 1864 in Middleburg, Hardeman, Tennessee. Due to an injury sustained during the battle of Chickamauga. He had injured his ankle while carrying the wounded.2 On the 1870 census , Wilson Burch was listed as the head of the family living in Otsego, Allegan, Michigan. Also included in the household: William H. Burch, Alanson Burch, Nathaniel Burch, Edwin "Eddie" Burch and George Burch.6


     Wilson Burch died on 9 January 1871 in Plainwell, Allegan, Michigan, Death date based on Civil War Pension and Marriage of Harriet to Levi Galehouse.2
On 7 March 1891 in Porter, Van Buren, Michigan,his pension was applied for by his widow Harriet M. Galehouse Harriet tried to receive Wilson's pension until her death. I do not show that she ever received any monies due to her.2
