William P. Morey, 85, Venice, died March 14, 2000. He was born Aug. 15, 1914, in Baraboo, Wis., and came to Venice 21 years ago from Cincinnati. He retired in 1979 from Walker Manufacturing Co. He was a member of North Port Yacht Club and Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was an Army veteran of World War II and Korean War. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife, Rose M; two daughters, Katherine Farrester of Pahrumph, Nev., and Anne Marie Menke of West Chester, Ohio; a son, William P. Jr. of Campbell, Calif; and six grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. National Cremation Society, Venice chapter, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church Building Fund, 513 Nassau St.,Venice, FL 34285.1
