Willis Dugger.8
Elizabeth was listed as a boarder on the 1930 census on [LD1] in Spray Precinct, Wheeler, Oregon, in Bruce Enyard's household as a Housekeeper.9 On 29 June 1949, Elizabeth Hattie died in Salem, Marion, Oregon,, at the age of 71. Elvera Beard was the informant on the death certificate.3,10 Elizabeth was buried on Wednesday, 29 June 1949 in the I.O.O.F Cemetery (Hill Top Cemetery), located in Independence, Polk County, Oregon .11 Between 29 June 1949 and 2 July 1949, Elizabeth's obituary was printed in the Statesman, circulated in Salem, Marion County, Oregon. Glen Monroe Dugger, Thelma Velma Crum, Cecil Willard Dugger, Roscoe Wallace Dugger, Otto Francis Dugger, Preston H. Willis Dugger, George W. Murphy, Areta Jones and Elvera Dugger were listed as survivors. Willis Monroe Dugger was listed as her husband.12
Elizabeth's obituary states:
Stroke Fatal for Elizabeth Dugger, Longtime Resident

Mrs. Elizbeth Hattie Dugger, a Salem resident for 15 years, died unexpectedly at her home at 1970 Water St. Wednesday evening at the age of 71 years. Death was caused by a stroke.

She was born a Monmouth July 11, 1877 and married Willis H. Dugger at Independence Jan. 19, 1897. He preceded her in death 25 years ago.

She was a member of Jesus Name Pentacostal church in Salem.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elvera Beard, Mrs Willard Jones and Mrs Thelma Crum, all of Salem; five sons, Preston Dugger of Salem, Glen and Cecil Dugger both of Portland, Otto Dugger of Oakland California and Roscoe Dugger of Wichita Falls, Texas, a brother, George Murphy of Centralia Wash., 20 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Services will be announced later by the Clough-Barrick Chapel.12

Elizabeth was buried on Saturday, 2 July 1949 I.O.O.F Cemetery (Hill Top Cemetery), Independence, Polk, Oregon.3,13
