     Before 1848, Betsey Ann Moyer married Norman Hawley, son of William Hawley and Philura (Unknown Name), date based on the birth of William.^1,2 She and Norman Hawley appeared on the census of 24 July 1850 in Franklinville, Cattaraugus, New York, also included in the household: William Hawley, John Hawley and William Riley Terry.³ Betsey Ann Moyer and Norman Hawley appeared on the census of 14 June 1860 in Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York, also included in the household: William Hawley, John Hawley, Olean Hawley, Viola Hawley, Loe Hawley and Melvin Hawley.² Betsey Ann Moyer and Norman Hawley appeared on the census of 30 June 1870 in Winneconne, Winnebago, Wisconsin, also included in the household: William Hawley, John Hawley, Melvin Hawley, Viola Hawley, Loe Hawley and Phidelis Hawley.⁴ Betsey Ann Moyer appeared on the census of 15 July 1870 in Irvington, Kossuth, Iowa, also included in the household: William Hawley, John Hawley, Melvin Hawley, Olean Hawley, Viola Hawley, Loe Hawley and Phidelis Hawley Betsey is also listed in the household of her husband in June 1870.⁵ Betsey was listed as the wife of Norman Hawley on 10 June 1880 Census in Winneconne, Winnebago, Wisconsin, included in the household is William Hawley, Melvin Hawley, Phidelis Hawley, Viola Hawley, Jenney Ellis, Perley M. Ellis and Ida Anna Ellis; also listed in the household is his granddaughters:

The children are Viola's even though Viola is listed as married but surname is HAWLEY. Did the enumerator just assume that her name was HAWLEY? Did Camp Edward Ellis die?⁶

Morey in Manchester, Washtenaw, Michigan. Also included were: Bert E. Morey and Grace E. Morey.³

     On 19 January 1898, Elizabeth Hattie "Lizzie" Murphy married Willis Monroe Dugger, son of John W Dugger and Catherine Malinda Bean, in Polk County, Oregon. They were married at the home of Lizzie's Father, Preston H Murphy..⁵ Elizabeth was listed as the wife of Willis Monroe Dugger on 5 June 1900 Census in Independence, Polk, Oregon, included in the household is Elvera Dugger.⁶
