     Sarah Jones was born on 3 March 1827 in Richmond, Wayne, Indiana.
     On 10 September 1850, Sarah Jones married Samuel Hollingsworth, son of Abraham Hollingsworth and Sarah Pidgeon, in Warren County, Ohio. On the 1860 Census in Marion, Lee, Iowa,, Sarah Hollingsworth, Theodore Hollingsworth, Theophilus Hollingsworth, Alpheous Hollingsworth and Isaac Hollingsworth were listed as a household member living with Samuel Hollingsworth. The family is listed as Hollinsworth.1 Sarah Hollingsworth, Theodore Hollingsworth, Theophilus Hollingsworth, Alpheous Hollingsworth, Isaac Hollingsworth and Mattie Hollingsworth were listed as a household member living with Samuel Hollingsworth and Sarah Hollingsworth, on the 1870 Census in Folker, Clark, Missouri.2 On the 1880 Census, Sarah was listed as the wife of Samuel Hollingsworth in Lincoln, Douglas, Missouri. Also included were: Theodore Hollingsworth.3 Sarah appeared on the on 13 June 1900 census of Birch Tree, Shannon, Missouri, in the household of her son Sarah Hollingsworth.4
     Sarah Jones died on 4 April 1903 in Harrison, Kootenai, Idaho, at the age of 76.
