Jennie Frazier was born on 15 February 1846 in Indiana.3,4,5 She appeared on the census of 21 June 1870 in Lewis, Holt, Missouri, living in the William Gordon household.6
On 8 February 1872, Jennie Frazier married Homer "Alonzo" Watson, son of Samuel Patterson Watson and Margaret Ann Ward, in Holt County, Missouri. By H. C. Long, JP.7,8,9 On the 1880 Census, Jane was listed as the wife of Homer "Alonzo" Watson in Greenfield, Rooks, Kansas. Also included were: Samuel David Watson, May Jeannette Watson and Arthur Bell Watson.10 Jane Watson and Homer "Alonzo" Watson appeared on the census of 1 March 1885 in Fairmont, Leavenworth, Kansas, also included in the household: Samuel David Watson, May Jeannette Watson, Arthur Bell Watson, Anna Bell Watson, Homer Ernest Watson and Hoarce Taylor Watson Willie Watson age 9 born in Kansas is also listed in the household.11
Jane Watson and Homer "Alonzo" Watson appeared on the census of 1 March 1895 in Fairmont, Leavenworth, Kansas, based on the number of people listed the following people could be included in the household: Samuel David Watson, May Jeannette Watson, Arthur Bell Watson, Anna Bell Watson, Homer Ernest Watson, Hoarce Taylor Watson, Mattie Janie Watson and Jess Taylor Watson. This is a supposition due to the fact that the 1895 Census of Wisconsin only lists the total number of males and females. Suan Huston age 74 born in Kentucky coming from Indiana is listed in the household ( Is this a relative?).12 Jennie was listed as the wife of Homer "Alonzo" Watson on 18 June 1900 Census in Fairmont, Leavenworth, Kansas, included in the household is Anna Bell Watson, Jess Taylor Watson, Hoarce Taylor Watson and Mattie Janie Watson.13 Jane Watson was Methodist in Glenwood Methodist Church, Glenwood, Leavenworth, Kansas.7
Jane Watson died on 14 February 1902 in Bonner Springs, Wyandotte, Kansas, at the age of 55.7 Jane was buried on Sunday, 16 February 1902 in the Glenwood Cemetery, located in Basehor, Leavenworth County, Kansas .7 On 20 February 1902, Jane's obituary was printed in the Bonner Springs Chieftain, circulated in Bonner Springs, Wyandotte County, Kansas. May Jeannette Watson and Arthur Bell Watson were listed as survivors. Homer "Alonzo" Watson was listed as her husband.7
Jane's obituary states:
Mrs. Homer Watson at rest.
Mrs. Jane Watson, wife of Homer Watson, died at her home near Jaggard Station at 4 o'clock on Friday last; of pneumonia and heart trouble. Her age was 54 years.
Mrs. Watson suffered an attack of pneumonia some three weeks ago. Shes got a along fairly well and was thought to be nearly out of danger a week ago and probably would have recovered, had it not been for the peculiar action of the heart. She had everything in her favor until the fever was broken Friday, when the heart trouble first became noticeable. That organ failed to respond properly and weakened as she was by the high temperature of many long days and nights she sank rapidly.
Mrs. Watson leaves to mourn her a husband and eight children-five boys and three girls-the eldest of the girls being Mrs. Griffith of Tonganoxie. She was a kind dutiful wife and mother and a follower of Christ, being a member of the Methodist church.
Mrs. Watson was a native of Indiana. While yet a child her parents moved to Iowa, thence to Missouri, where she grew to womanhood and was married, thirty years ago, to Mr. Watson. Seven of her children were present at the funeral. The absent one Arthur, is a member of the First U. S. Infantry on duty in Samar, P. I. He will not learn of his mother's death for many weeks yet.
The funeral took place from the Glenwood Methodist church on Sunday at 1 o'clock, Rev Boicount, of this place officiating. The interment was made in Glenwood cemetery.

The sympathy of the community is extended to Homer Watson and family, whose bereavement of wife and mother occurred last week. She will be missed from her accustomed place by the fireside and as central figure in the family circle, but we mourn for her not as they who are without hope mourn-we think of her as not lost-only gone before. Her earthly sufferings are forever past and she has gone to her reward.7
