To the Register appointed for registering Deeds Conveyances and so forth.
A Memorial of an Indented Deed of Release bearing date the fifteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and fourteen and made by and between Jones Griffith Irwin Esq. Captain in the Leitrim Regiment of Militia and Jane Irwin Spinster sister of the said Jones G. Irwin Richard Wood of Seaford in the County of Sligo Esq. and Catharine Wood his Wife The Reverend William Walker of Abbey Cottage in the County of Leitrim [like] Pate the husband to Hanah Walker otherwise Irwin deceased and Henry Irwin Esq. Physician in his Majesties Forces which said Jones Griffith Jane Catharine Hanah and Henry were the sole Children and devisees of Edward Irwin Esquire deceased of the first part. The said William Walker of the second part and the said Henry Irwin of the third part Reciting as therein is recited By which said Deed the said William Walker for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred and twenty-nine pounds ten Shillings and four pence to him paid by the said Henry Irwin granted bargained sold released and conferred unto the said Henry Irwin his Heirs and assigns All that one undivided sixth part of the Lands of Drimnagranshy and Clitta situated in the Barony of Corran and County of Sligo in as full sampled manner as the same was demised by Thomas Fitzmaurice to said Edward Irwin. To Have and to Hold unto the said Henry Irwin from the twenty-first day of July one thousand eight hundred and twelve for and during the natural life and lives of said Jones G. Irwin and Henry Irwin of Roxborough in the County of Roscommon Esq. and the survivor of them subject to the proportion of Rent fees and duty payable thereof and the said several partys did thereby covenant and agree that they were respectively entitled to said granted Lands in the proportions following viz. The said Richard Wood and Catharine his Wife to one third and the said Jones Griffith Irwin Jane Irwin Henry Irwin in their own Right and said William Walker in right of the said Hanah Walker his late Wife were entitled to the remaining two thirds without any benefit of Survivorship in which said Deed is Witnessed by John Wood of the City of Dublin Gent. Attorney and James Hartt of Seaford aforesaid Schoolmaster and this Memorial is Witnessed by the said John Wood and James Hartt.

The above named James Hartt maketh oath and sayeth that he was present and saw the deed whereof the above writing is a Memorial duly Executed by the Executing partys thereto and was also present and saw the above Memorial duly Executed by Henry Irwin the Executing party thereto and with the same James Hartt subscribed as a Witness to said deed and the above Memorial is this Deponents proper name and handwriting. Sworn before me at Sligo in this County of Sligo this Twentyth day of March 1815 a Commissioner for taking affidavits by virtue of a Commission out of his Majesty’s Court of Chancery in Ireland to me for that purpose directed and I know this Deponent.
