To the Register appointed by Act of Parliament for Registering deeds and so forth A Memorial of an Indented deed of Assignment bearing the date the Twenty fifth day of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Thirty Eight and had between Edward Mulberry Hodder now of Saint Servan in the Kingdom of France Esquire And Frances Jane Hodder other wise Tench his wife of the first part Charles Davis in the City of Dublin Esquire Doctor in Medicine of the Second part and Michael Phillips of Rossana in the County of Wicklow Esquire Executors of the last Will of the Reverend William Eastwood deceased of the Third part. Whereby after reciting that by Indenture bearing date on or about the first day of february One Thousand Eight hundred and thirteen Solomon Richards of Solsboro in the County of Wexford Esquire did give grant and Confirm unto John Beevor of Newtown Barry Esquire one Annuity or Yearly Rent Charge of Sixty pounds to be Issuing and going out of and Charged and Chargeable upon All That and Those the Town and Lands of Raheen other wise Called Solsorough Situate in the barony of Scarawalsh and County of Wexford to the said John Beevor his heirs or assigns for Ever from the first day of November then last subject to the proviso therein contained to the Effect that if at any time there After the Said Solomon Richards his heirs or assigns Should think proper to pay the Sum of One Thousand pounds and Should give Six Months previous Notice in Writing of Such intention to the Said John Beever his heirs or Assigns he the Said John Beevor his heirs or Assigns Should on the Receipt and payment of the Said Sum of One Thousand pounds And of all arrears of Said Annuity deliver up Said Indenture to be Cancelled or otherwise Relinquished And Assign all benefit to be deliver to him or them these from at the option of the Said Solomon Richards his heirs or Assigns So as that the said John Beevor his heirs or Assigns should not from thence forth have or claim any Sum or Sums of Money under the Grant contained in Said Indenture and Reciting that by Indenture bearing date on or about the Seventh day of February One Thousand eight hundred and fourteen the Said John Beevor in consideration of the sum of Seven hundred and fifty pounds to him paid by the Rev’d Wm Eastwood Rector of Kilscoran in the diocese of Ferns and County of Wexford did grant bargain sell assign transfer and Make Over Unto the Said William Eastwood the Said Annuity or Yearly Rent Charge of Sixty pounds To charge upon the Said Lands of Raheen otherwise Solsboro To Hold to the Said William Eastwood his heirs Exors Admons And Assigns as his and their proper goods and Chattels for Ever And further Reciting that the Said William Eastwood duly Made and published his last Will and Testament in Writing and also a Codicil there to bearing date the Seventeen September One Thousand Eight hundred and Thirty one and by Said Codicil after reciting that he was possessed of a Rent Charge of Sixty pounds a Year of the late Currency on the lands or demesne of Solsborough in the County Wexford for Ever liable to be Reclaimed for the Sum of One Thousand pounds he bequeathed to the Said Frances Jane Tench for her sole use after the death of his Wife and not before And Said Testator did there by Also bequeath to the Said Frances Jane Tench the Sum of five hundred pounds Sterling in addition to the Sum of One Thousand pounds left to her on the death of his wife And also Reciting that the Said Testator had departed this life Soon after without altering or Revoking Said Will or Codicil leaving his Said Wife Mary Eastwood (who since Married the said Charles Davis) and Said Frances Jane Tench him Surviving and Reciting that the Said Frances Jane Tench had since intermarried with and is the wife of Edward Mulberry Hodder and that the Said Charles Davis had Agreed with the Said Edward Mulberry Hodder and Frances Jane his wife for the purchase of Said Annuity and legacy Expectant upon the decease of the Widow of the Said William Eastwood at or for the price or Sum of Nine Hundred pounds It was by Said Indenture Now under Recital Witnessed that in consideration of the Sum of Nine hundred pounds to the Said Edward Mulberry Hodder and Frances Jane his wife in hand paid by the Said Charles Davis the Receipt whereof is there by acknowledged they the Said Edward Mulberry Hodder and Frances Jane his wife did and each of them

did grant bargain Sell Assign transfer and Make unto the Said Charles Davis the Said Annuity or Yearly Rent Charge of Sixty pounds So Charged on the Said lands of Raheen otherwise Solsborough the Estate of the Said Solomon Richards Situate in the Barony of Scarawalsh And County of Wexford And Also the Said Legacy of five hundred pounds bequeathed her by the Said William Eastwood as aforesaid To Hold to the Said Charles Davis his heirs Exons Admons and Assigns Expectant And immediately after the decease of the Said Mary Eastwood orse Foster orse Davis Relict of the Said William Eastwood deceased to and for his and their own proper use and behoof as his and their proper goods and Chatells for Ever Subject to the Covenant for repurchase in Said Recited deed mentioned And Said Indenture Contained a power of Attorney from the said Edward Mulberry Hodder and Frances Jane his wife to the Said Charles Davis his heirs Exons Admonds And Assigns to Recover Receive the Said Annuity and legacy Also a proviso that nothing of said deed should in any manner affect or Charge the Said Michael Phillips his heirs Executors of Admonds in person or fortune he having Joined these in for the Sole purpose of Admitting Notice of Said Assignment which Said Indenture of which this is a memorial as to the Execution thereof by the Said Edward Mulberry Hodder and Frances Jane his wife is Witnessed by Robert Atkinson Gent of Monkstown in the County of Dublin and by Richard Wm Martin M.D. of Chatham Kent England and this Memorial is Signed and Sealed by the Said Edward Mulberry Hodder and Frances Jane his wife and Witnessed by the Said Robert Atkinson and Richard Wm Martin.

The above named Robert Atkinson Maketh Oath and Saith he is a Subscribing Witness to the deed of which the above writing is a Memorial And Also to Said Memorial and Saith he was present and did See the Said deed duly Executed by Edward Mulberry Hodder and Frances Jane Hodder duly Sign and Seal Said Memorial and Saith that the Name Robert Atkinson Subscribed as an Attesting Witness to the Execution of the deed and Memorial respectively is this deponents proper name and hand writing. Robert Atkinson. And deponent Saith that he hath delivered Said deed and also this Memorial to Walter Glascock Esq’r Ass’t Register at the Registry Office Dublin on Thursday the Sixth day of September One Thousand Eight hundred and Thirty Eight at or about the hour of a Quarter after Twelve O’Clock in the After noon of Said day.
