A Memorial of deeds of lease and release indented bearing date respectively the thirty first of Oct & first days of Nov one thousand seven hundred thirty three, made between Edward
SWAN of Killreesk in the county of Dublin Esqr of the one part and William SWAN of the same Esqr Eldest son of the said Edward of the other part, whereby the said Edward SWAN in consideration of one thousand five hundred
Pounds in the said release mentd to be paid to him by the said William SWAN, did grant and release to the said William SWAN All that and those the called by the name of Fagans freehold containing abt Twenty eight
acres situate in or abt the town of Lusk in the County of Dublin, The Town and lands of Rasteen containing abt one hundred and forty eight acres & a half lying in the parish of Moynalty Barrony of Kells and County of Meath
one house stedd and a garden on the South side of the Church of the Town of Lusk in Lusk aforesaid, bounded on the East by the causey leading to said Church and on the West to FAGAN of Feltrims Land formerly the Lord CONINGSBYs
Land, and on the South to the garden formerly in the possession of Richd CRUCE belonging to the said Edward SWAN and in the North to the gardens in the possession of John CORMACK & Peter KELLY and in the Northwest to the Garden
in the possession of James SULLAM belonging to the said Edwd SWAN containing in the front ___ Perches and in length backwards from the said street Perches
or thereabts. Also all that and those the town and lands of Kilmacry formerly the property of Robert CHAMBERLAIN Irish Papist, containing by estimation thirty four acres one rood and sixteen perches of profitable land
Plantation measure, more or less, situate in the Barrony of Castleknock in the County of Dublin aforesaid with the appces. Also all that and those the town and lands of Killreesk aforesd containing two hundred and fifty six acres
plantation measure, be it more or less, situate in the Barrony of Coolock and County of Dublin formerly the reputed property of Robt CHAMBERLAIN and afterwards granted to Michael Lord Bishop of Dublin and
his successors for ever, and also all that and those the town and lands of Rathulke containing by estimation one hundred acres, be it more or less, situate in the Barrony of Nethercross and County of Dublin formerly the
reputed property of Richd GOULDING of Kinsayle and afterwards granted to the Lord Arch Bishop of Dublin and his successors for ever with the appurtences, and likewise all that the part and parcell of the town and lands
of Brownstown in the Barrony of Nethercross and county of Dublin, containing be estimation one hundred and thirty two acres, be it more or less, formerly the reputed property of PLUNKET of Brewly and
afterwards granted to the Lord Arch Bishop of Dublin and his successors for ever, and also that part of the lands of Dubber called by the name Mitchers Mount near red Lyon, situate in the County of Dublin the
Estate of Jane BELLINGHAM the said Edwards late wife, and further by the said release the said Edward SWAN did assign and make over unto the said william SWAN all those the tenements waste houses places backsides
and gardens within the town of Lusk in the Barrony of Nethercross in the County of Dublin with their appurtences in as ample and beneficiall a manner as the said Edwd SWAN and his undertennants enjoyed the
same (the tenemts backsides and gardens in the said town wherein Randall POVEY dwelt only excepted) to hold the said lands called Fagans freehold and said lands of Rasteen and also the said
housestedd and garden and the said towns and lands of Kilmacry and every of them with their appurtences unto the said Wm SWAN his heirs and assigns for ever, and to hold the said town and lands of
Killreesk with the appurtences unto the said William SWAN his heirs and assigns from thenceforth during the naturall life and lives of the said Edward SWAN William SWAN and Daniel SWAN sons of
the said Edward SWAN and the longest liver of them to the uses following that is to say, as to all the said town and lands of Killreesk, except for the mansion house thereof and outhouses offices & demesnes
belonging thereto being fifty acres or thereabts, to the only use and behoof of the said Wm SWAN his heirs and assigns, and as to the said mansion house of Killreesk and outhouses offices & demesnes
thereto belonging to the use and behoof of the said Edwd SWAN and his assigns during the term of his natural life, and from and after his decease to the only use and behoof of the said William SWAN his heirs
and assigns. And to hold the said town and lands of Rathulke with appurtences unto the said William SWAN his heirs and assigns thenceforth during the naturall life and lives of
the said Edward SWAN Daniel SWAN and Edward SWAN junr sons of the said Edward SWAN and the life of the longest liver of them, and to hold the said part and parcell of the town and lands of
Brownstown with appurtences unto the said William SWAN his heirs & assigns from thenceforth during the naturall life and lives of him the said Edward SWAN William SWAN and Bellingham SWAN
his sons, and the life of the longest liver of them, and to hold the said part of the aforesaid lands of Dubber called by the name of Mitchers Mount with appurtences unto the said William SWAN his
heirs and assigns during the term of the natural life of him the said Edwd SWAN, and to hold the said tenements wastehouses places backsides and gardens with the appurtences unto the said William
SWAN his Exrs admrs and assigns from thenceforth during all the remainder of a term of forty years granted by a certain lease (in the said release recited) dated the fifteenth day of June one
thousand seven hundred and six from William Lord Arch Bishop of Dublin to the said Edward SWAN commencing the feast day of the Annunciation of the Blessed virgin Mary then last, then unexpired
And further by the said deed of release for the considerations therein mentd the said William SWAN did grant and confirm unto the said Edward SWAN one annuity or yearly rent charge of one
hundred and fifty pounds Ster to be yearly issuing and going out of all and singular the said lands tenemts hereditament and premisses before granted and assigned to the said William SWAN
To hold perceive and yearly to receive take and enjoy the said annuity or yearly rent charge of one hundred and fifty pounds to the said Edward SWAN and his assigns during the term of his naturall
life payable yearly above all deductions by two equall portions, and further by the said release it is covenanted, that as for and concerning the said severall leasehold premisses both for lives & years
before granted and assigned, the same were and should be (subject to the said annuity of one hundred and fifty pounds) upon trust and confidence that he the said William SWAN his heirs Exrs Admrs
and assigns should out of the rents and profits of the same pay or cause to be paid to his brothers and sisters therein after named the severall and respective yearly sums or annuitys thereinafter
mentd for their severall and respective lives in manner as in the said release is set forth, and also the sum of two hundred pounds and the interest thereof to such persons and in such
manner as thereinafter mentioned, which said deed of lease and release and this memoriall are witnessed by William COOKE of the City of Dublin Mercht James DAVISON Clke to George MORE of the
same Publick Notary and the said George MORE.
