Nío 49305 To the Register appointed by Act of Parliament for the Publick Registering all Deeds Conveyances and Wills – A Memorial of Deeds of Lease and Release bearing dates Respectively of the Fifteenth & Sixteenth Days of March One Thousand Seven hundred and Thirty one Between Dillon Newman of Dromineen in the county Corke Esqíre of the first part Dorothea Newman daughter of the síd Dillon Newman of the second part Swithin White Senír of the city of Corke Esqíre of the third part Swithin White Junír of the city of Corke Gent. of the city of Corke of the Fourth part Emanuel Pigott of Chelwin in the County of the city of Corke Esqíre and Boyle Davies of Dannybrook in the County of the city of Corke Clerk of the Fifth part and Thomas Hodder of Fountainstown in the county of Corke Gent. and William Bull of the city of Corke Gent. of the Sixth part and Richard Newman of Killshanig in the county of Corke Esqíre Adam Newman of the city of Corke Gent. Thoís Parker of the city of Corke Gent. and Jemmett Browne of Riverstown in the county of Cork Clerk of the Seventh part Reciting that whereas by Lease and Release bearing date respectively the first and second days of June one Thousand and Seven Hundred and Thirty one Between said Swithin White Senior and Ann his wife and said Swithin White Junír. of the first part Thomas Hodder aforesaid and said William Bull of the Second part Samíll Hodder of Fountainstown In the said county of Corke and Francis Hodder of the same Gentleman of the third part Samuell Boles and Richard Boles both of Middletown in the said County of Corke Gent. of the Fourth part and the said Emanuel Pigott and Boyle Davies of the fifth part for the Considerations therein Mentioned the Towns and Lands of Rochfordstown Ballymaur Carrageenaviagh and Glankittawne in the County of the City of Corke were granted and conveyíd or intended to be granted or conveyed to the said Thomas Hodder and William Bull and their heirs to the Intent that a Common recovery for the afsuring and Conveying of Lands may be had and Suffered to be and enure to the lands of Ballymaur Carrageenaviagh and Glankittawne to the use of said Swithin White Senior during his life and after the Determination of that Estate to the said Emanuel Pigott and Boyle Davis [no Ďeí] during the life of the said Swithin White Senior to preserve the Contingent remainders and the Decease of the said Swithin White Senír as a for and Concerning all the said Lands Except the Lands of Rochfordstown to the intent that the same should and may be Charged with the Sum of one hundred pounds p. ann as a Joynture and provision for said Ann while during her life and after the Decease of said Swithin White Senior as for and Concerning the said Lands of Ballymaur Carrageenaviagh and Glankittawne to the uses of said Samuell and Richard Boles for the Term of three hundred years to the Intent to raise the Sum of Three Thousand pounds to Enable the said Swithin White Senior to provide for his younger children and from and after Such Sum so raised from and after the Decease of said Swithin White Senior to the use of the said Swithin White Junior during life and after his Decease to the use of the first and every other Son of the said Swithin White Junior lawfully to be begotten and the heirs males of the Severall Bodys with Several remainders over And whereas by the said Deed it was granted declared and agreed that the said Swithin White Junior after his Intermarriage with any woman should have hold and Enjoy the said lands of Rochfordstown as if the síd Swithin White Senír were actually Dead and also the said Swithin White Junír is thereby Impowered to settle the said Lands of Rochfordstown on any woman he shall marry as a Joynture also to Charge all the said Lands and premises with any Sum not Exceeding the Sum of Two Thousand pounds And whereas a marriage is intended to be had and Solemnized between the síd Swithin White and Dorothea Newman to the intent that a Joynture may be Sett out and allotted to the said Dorothea Newman and a provision may be made for the provision of the younger Children of said Match the said Thomas Hodder and William Bull Emanuell [2 llís] Pigott and Boyle Davies Swithin White Senír and Swithin White Junír in Consideration of said marriage and of Eleven Hundred pounds Marriage portion of said Dorothea Newman paid by said Dillon Newman unto the said Swithin White Junír and in Consideration of the Five Shillings by the said Dillon Newman in hand paid to said Thoís Hodder William Bull Emanuel Pigott and Boyle Davies the said Thomas Hodder Will Bull Emanuell Pigott Boyle Davies Swithin White Senír and Swithin White Junír Have Granted bargained sold alieníd Released and Confirmed unto said Richard Newman Adam Newman Thomas Parker and Jemmett Browne the Town and Lands of Rochfordstown in the County of the City of Corke with the appurtenances which Town and Lands were then in actual pofsion of the said Richard Newman Adam Newman Thomas Parker and Jemmett Browne by virtue of one Indenture of bargain and sale to them thereof made for one year To have and to hold the said premises unto the said Richard Newman Adam Newman Thomas Parker and Jemmett Browne to the use following – viz to the use of said Swithin White Junír during his natural life after his Decease to said Trustees for the Term of Ninety Nine years to the intent that the said Dorothy [not Dorothea] Newman in Case she should Survive him shall receive out of said premises the yearly rent Charge of One hundred and Fifty pounds p. annum [Fol. 515:]Payable Quarterly and from and after payment of said rent to the use of the first and every other son of the said Swithin White Junior and the heirs Males of their Severall Bodys and for Default of such Ifsue to Thomas White Second Son of said Swithin White Senír during his life and after his Decease to the first Son and every other Son of said Thomís White lawfully to be begotten and the heirs Males of their respective Bodys and for Default of such Ifsue to Stephen White Third Son of síd Swithin White Senír during his life and after his Decease to the first son and every other son of síd Stephín White lawfully to be begotten and the heirs Males of their respective Bodys and in Default of such Ifsue if it shall happen that said Swithin White Senír shall have one or more Daughter or Daughters and the said Swithin White Junior shall have one or more Daughter or Daughters then to the use of Such Daughters equally to be divided between them as Tenants in Common and the heirs of their Bodys respectively to be begotten & for Default of such Ifsue to the use of the right heirs of síd Swithin White Senír & as for & Concerning yíe síd Term of ninety nine years herein before Limitted after paymít of said rent charge in Trust that if the said Swithin White Junír shall have two or more Sons or one or more Sons and Daughters then the said Richard Newman Adam Newman Thomas Parker and Jemmett Brown [no Ďeí] and the Survivor of them the Exírs & admírs of Such Survivís shall & will by Mortgage or Sale if need be of said Term raise such Sum or Sums of money not Exceeding the sum of Two Thousand pounds as the said Swithin White Junír by his Deed Executed in his lifetime or by his last Will in writing shall appoint for the Maintenance of such younger Child or Children and after the Death of said Dorothea Newman as Soon as such Sum or Sums of money shall be so raised then upon Trust that the said Richard Newman Adam Newman Thomas Parker and Jemmett Brown [no Ďeí] and the Survís of them & yíe Exírs and admírs of Such Survivírs shall and will Surrend the said Term unto such person or persons as shall be Intitled to the Inheritance of said Lands. Witnefses to the Execution of the said Deeds by all the said parties (Except the síd Swithin White Senír) are Chaís Newman of Dromineen in the County of Corke Gent. and Daniel Knight of the City of Corke Merchít. Gent. and Witnefses to the Signing and Sealing this Memorial are the said Daníl Knight and Thomas Hodder of the City of Corke Gent. In Witnefs where of the said Thomas Parker hath to this Memíl putt his hand and Sale this Nineteenth Day of August 1732; –

Present at Signing and Sealing the said memorial – Daníl Knight – Thoís Hodder. The above named Daniel Knight this day made Oath before me that he saw the Sevearl parties in the foregoing Memíl duly Execute the Deeds of lease and Release therein recited & whereof the foregoing writing is a Memorial Except the said Swithin White Senír and that he also saw the said Thomas Parker Sign and Seal the above Memíl to which Deeds and Memíl this deponent is a Subscribing Witnefs and that the name Daniel Knight Subscribed as witnefs to síd Deeds and Memíl is the proper handwriting of Depít – Daníl Knight – ___ ___ ___ ____ Corke 21ít die Augít 1732 virtute Commifsion & ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ – Wm Sullivan Present – Daniel Crone – Tho Hodder –
