I Remember Mom & Dad
One of my memories were when I was in Second grade
at Wiley Branch school. My brother, James, and I had
to walk about a 1/2 mile to the school. When we got up
this particular morning, it looked as though it were
going to rain. Mom said if it is raining when we get out
of school we were to go to Grandpa, Tom Music's house for
the night.
Well, it did not rain. But my brother and I went home
with my aunt Madge Music Hale's kids. They lived next
to my Grandpa Tom. The next day, we decided to go home
with them again.
But....there waiting for us when school let out was Mom.
She used a willow switch on us all the way home. Needless
to say we never tried that again.
