Irene Preston

1916–2002

Funeral services were held Monday, October 28,
12 p.m. at Preston Funeral Home for Irene Preston, 86,
who passed away Thursday, October 24 at Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Preston was born March 9, 1916 in Magoffin County,
daughter of the late Kelly B. and Maude Stapleton Adams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Preston.

Surviving are one son, Harold Dean Preston of Paintsville;
two daughters, Walter Lee Pack of Nippa, and Jacqueline Arms
of Eurbana, Oh.; one sister, Ethel Preston; 10 grandchildren;
24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

The service was officiated by J.D. Rice, John Sparks, and
Bruce Howard, with burial following in Lakeview Memorial
Cemetery, Staffordsville.
