Sylvia VanHoose
1927–2002

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 12, at
1 p.m. at the Preston Funeral Chapel for Sylvia VanHoose,
75, who passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9 at J.J. Jordan Geriatric
Center, Louisa.

Mrs. VanHoose was born Mar. 10, 1927 at River, Ky., daughter
of the late Garrett and Fannie DeBoard Arrowood.

Surviving are her husband, Earl VanHoose; two sons, Ray Morris
VanHoose of Washington Court House, Ohio; and Larry Eugene
VanHoose of River, Ky.; one daughter, Jannett Sue Copley of
Reynoldsville, Oh.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
one brother, Garrett Arrowood, Jr., of Cincinnati, Oh.; three
sisters, Fannie Ellen Gray, Garnett, and Vivian Gray, all of
Cincinnati, Oh.

The service was officiated by Barry Keith VanHoose, with burial
following in Stapleton Cemetery, Tutor Key.
