Waldo Emerson Ison, 71, Columbus,Ohio, died thursday
July 3 after a brief illness.

Mr. Ison was born June 29, 1915 in Elliott Co.,KY
a son of Ira Paulus Ison and the late Nancy Stapleton
Ison.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Tilton Ison; one
son,Michael Douglas Ison of Columbus,Ohio;two brothers
Wendall of Columbus and Milo of Stephens,Ohio;five
sisters,Vesta White Of Jackson,Ohio,Pauline Bentley of
Columbus,Lorene Riggs of Zanesville,Ohio,Madeline
Johnson of Stephens and Claudia Mitchell of Columbus.

Funeral services were conducted Monday,July 7 at 10:00
a.m. at Jerry Spears Funeral Home in Columbus,Ohio by
Weldon and Horace Burgess. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery.
