Charles B. Rice
1923-2002

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 10,
1 p.m. at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel for Charles B.
Rice, 79, who passed away Tuesday, August 6 in Dayton,
Ohio.

Mr. Rice was born April 13, 1923 in Johnson County, son
of the late William Dewey and Ollie May Conley Rice.

Surviving are his wife, Hattie Stapleton Rice; one
son, Gary Rice of Dayton, Ohio; three brothers, John
Rice of East Point, Carl Rice of Huber Heights, Ohio,
and Doug Rice of West Van Lear; three sisters, Hermalee
Andy of Ohio, Garnet Moore of Dayton, Ohio, and Helen
Violet of Urbana, Ohio; three grandchildren.

The service was officiated by Leroy Auxier, with burial
following in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville,KY.
