Ocie Ealey

1917–2002

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 29,
11 a.m. at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Ocie
Ealey, 84, who passed away Saturday, January 26, at Paul
B. Hall Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Ealey was born February 5, 1917 at Flatgap, d/o the
late Bill Ed and Della Mae McKenzie. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Arthur Ealey.

Surviving are two sons, Phillip Ealey of Salyersville, Gary
Ealey of Marshall, N.C.; four daughters, Billie Shaw of
Laurelville, Oh., Virginia Hackworth of Vanlue, Oh., Ruth Ealey
of Vanlue, Oh., and Grace Helton of Staffordsville; 10 grandchildren,
16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Homer Williams of Louisa.

The service was officiated by Richard Williams and Paul W. Browning,
with burial following in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
