FOSTER GRIM
OF STAMBAUGH DIES
JULY 23


Foster grim, age 73, died Saturday, July 23,
9:10 p.m. at the paintsville Hospital after an apparent
heart attack.

The funeral was held Tuesday, July 26, 10:30 a.m. at the
George's Creek United Baptist Church, Lowmansville with
Johnny King, Lonza Reed, and Charley Mackney officiating.

Born February 19, 1893, he was the son of John and Hester
Daniel Grim. He had been a resident of Stambaugh for the past
55 years and was a member of the United Baptist Church.

His surviving wife is the former Mollie McClure. They were
married August 28, 1912 at Lowmansville.

Additional survivors include two sons: Mitchell of Lackey and
Carson of Wittensville; three daughters, Mrs. Gusta (Ray) Daniel,
Lowmansville, Mrs Robert Daniel and Mrs. Naomi Stapleton, both
of Prestonsburg; two brothers: Walter of Louisa and Johnny of
Bonanza and two sisters: Mrs Virgie Castle, Lowmansville and
Mrs Sarah Chandler, Westwood.

Burial took place in the Grim cemetery at Lowmansville under the
direction of Preston Funeral Home.
