Geneva Stapleton

Geneva Stapleton,58, died Thursday, November 29th,
in Paintsville Hospital, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Stapleton was born in Johnson County January 14,
1921, the daughter of Linzie and Susan Green Dixon. She
was a resident of Hager Hill.

Surviving are her father Linzie Dixon; her husband Dock
Stapleton whom she married Abt. 1949;six sons, Elva Daniel,
Elmer Daniel, Johnny Daniel and Larry Daniel,Dayton,Ohio,
Delmar Daniel,Long Beach, Calif., and Frankie Stapleton,
Barnetts Creek; six daughters, Pauline Young, West Carrollton,
Ohio, Earline Zahron, Morehead,Minn., Phyliss Morris, Dayton,
Ohio; Sharon Adams, Oil Springs, Betty Collinsworth, Nippa, and
Sandy Stapleton, Hager Hill.

Also, three brothers, Elmer Dixon and Russell Dixon, London,
Ky., Frank Dixon, Columbus,Ohio; and sister Jewel Boggs,
Webbsville,Ky.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 2, in Jones-
Preston Funeral Home with O. I. Williams and James Kelly Caudill
officiating.

Burial was in the Green Cemetery, Stambaugh, with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
