Mary Francis Daniel
1912–2001
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 at
the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Mary Francis Daniel,
89, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001 at Highland
Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Daniel was born Jan. 5, 1912 in Lawrence Co.KY daughter
of the late Forest and Pricie Burton Borders. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Lawrence Borders.

Surviving are three sons, Donnie and Doug Daniel of Thealka,
and Bob Daniel of Wittensville; one daughter, Wanda Cantrell
of Paintsville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren;
and five great-great-grandchildren.

The service was officiated by James Kelly Caudill and
Dick Vanhoose, with burial following in the Daniel Family
Cemetery, Thealka,KY.
