WEBB PRINCE
Mr. Webb Prince, of Clarksburg, died suddenly of a heart
attack at his farm home Sunday Morning about 9 o'clock. He
was stricken while helping his son, Floyd, feed the calves.
Mr. Prince was a farmer and a former bee inspector. He was
born in Louisa, Kentucky on February 24, 1890 a son of John and
Jenny Large Prince. On December 17, 1914 he was married to Martha
May who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Effie Millsap, Mrs. Sue
Ellen Clarke of Clarksburg Route 1, Mrs. Audrey Bowman of Grove City,
and Mrs. Ethel Burns of Chillicothe Route 6, three sons, C. Murrell Prince
of Columbus, Charles Prince of the U.S. Army, and Floyd Prince of near
Clarksburg; four brothers, Goerge Prince of Louisa, Ky, Charles Prince of
Portsmouth, Carter Prince of Frankfort Route 2, and Scott Prince of Roanoke,
Va., three sisters, Mrs. Ozella Hicks of Clarksburg, Mrs. Charles Forrest of
Columbus and Mrs. Ramie Compton of Louisa, Ky and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Browns Chapel, Tuesday afternoon at 1:30
with the Rev. DeLoss Smith officiating. Burial was made in Browns Chapel
Cemetery, under direction of the Ware Funeral Home.
